FREE Yoga Classes to Veterans and Their Family Members

Yoga is a Powerful Agent of Change, and Not Simply a Form of Exercise. Within a safe community of fellow veterans and their family members, you will learn practices to release stress, sleep better, ease aches and pains, lower blood pressure, increase strength, flexibility, balance and focus, and develop tools to help manage the symptoms of PTSD and TBI. This is your chance to discover the benefits of yoga: vigor and vitality, balance, peace, and a sense of well-being. No prior experience is needed.

 

*Mats, blocks, straps and blankets provided. Just show up!

Kate is available for Zoom or Facetime classes or just individual yoga practice. She needs a few people for client work so she can finish up my Yoga Therapy training, if interested please email Kate at kdflemingyoga@gmail.com to let her know, it would be over Zoom or Facetime. (and free!)
New Guidelines:
1. Sign-In required prior to class. We will send out the invite to sign up for class. If you don’t see it (sometime tomorrow) please let me know. We are limiting the number of students per class and contact tracing for everyone’s safety. Temperatures will be taken and waivers signed to gain access to class.
2. Props. We are requesting that you bring your own mat and blankets. If you don’t have a mat, one will be issued to you. You can use a towel if you don’t have a blanket, it doesn’t have to be fancy, we just ask that you please wash your towel or blanket after each session every week. We can have blocks, they are easy to wipe down.
3. Masks. Masks on when you are not on your mat. Mats 6′ to 10′ apart. Classes will be shorter, to limit everyone’s exposure.
If you are not comfortable coming to class, don’t worry we will still have live yoga on YouTube by CLICKING HERE on Monday at 7:30 PM Wednesday 9:30 AM, Friday 10:00 AM. Plus already recorded videos.
Practice good sleep hygiene, eat healthy food, get exercise and fresh air! Let me know if you are interested in Meditation-I have a ton of suggestions!

We are cleaning all of the yoga equipment, I’ve included a recipe for home-made yoga mat spray. 
Yoga mat spray:
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Vinegar
10 drops tea tree oil
15 drops lavender oil
5 drop eucalyptus oil
